Dan has been an active commercial real estate practitioner in the Colorado marketplace since 1985. With a deep understanding of market fundamentals and complex development and investment processes, he’s recognized as a leading commercial real estate professional by many prominent local, regional and national firms. Dan has brokered more than 500 leasing and investment sales transactions, and has directly acquired, entitled and developed over $300 million of land and industrial properties.
Dan’s most recent experience includes nearly three years as a principal at IBC Holdings, LLC, a privately held commercial real estate firm based in Golden, Colorado, specializing in the acquisition, development and re-development of commercial properties in the Western United States. During his tenure he and his partners implemented a concentrated development and acquisition strategy, accumulating over 1.4 million SF of industrial properties in the central and southeast submarkets of Denver.
From 1985-2007 Dan held various positions at Trammell Crow Company. He was responsible for overseeing the firm’s Industrial Properties Division, growing its portfolio from 1.7 million sf to 5.5 million sf over a four-year period. He provided advisory services to notable private and corporate clients, and was integral in establishing the company as a market leader in the third party services business in Denver. In 1999, he and his partners formed the Investment & Development Division, reestablishing the firm’s prominence as a leading commercial real estate developer in Colorado.
